Snowboarding

We’ve searched everywhere to provide you with just the right article to let you know what the extreme feeling of snowboarding produces in your skin and we realized there are no words to express the thrill, the adrenaline, the excitement...the passion. But that didn’t stop us, we are going to attempt to inspire the rush of the sport to take you beyond snowboarding.

It all starts while you are driving towards the mountain. You stop shivering, your skin still has goose bumps, but it’s not from the cold, but the snowboard worm that is growing through your body. When you arrive you hurry, trying not to lose a second, like a triathlon in each transition. Then you start walking to the device that will transport you to heaven. On your way up, your imagination is drawing the path to victory.

From the first moment you reach to the top of the mountain that you had been dreaming of since you sat in the lift, and when the fresh breeze of the morning air begins to fill up your lungs, you look down on the white powdered snow with your adrenaline rising like the beaming sun, knowing that you are about to make that awesome journey to the bottom.

You’ve put aside one or more hours of sleep for this moment. And here it is waiting for you like a kid waits for his Christmas present because he knows it will be unforgettably perfect. The right side of your brain is beyond excitement, and the other side is numb from the beauty that surrounds you and want’s you to be part of.

You’ve checked your gloves, your hat, your boots, your goggles and you pop into stance. Now just a little movement is separating you from the perfect freedom. You turn your board and there you go..............you start moving like a train that doesn’t want to be stopped or a butterfly trying to make “that” one day the best it can.

That’s it, it’s here, the mountain is in front of you, trees are watching you pass by so fast while you draw silhouettes in the powdered snow.

Now the slope is yours, it has your name and the remaining leaves of winter have your smell. While you’re looking for the perfect jump or ride that awaits ahead of you, you find yourself in the backcountry where only the wild know the paths. Your heart is beating as fast as you go and your still going because nobody can stop you. Then there’s that feeling that only snowboarding can give you, the feeling of “there is no place or moment better that this, right here, right now, riding down the mountain, your fingers touching the snow every time you make a turn, the wind caressing your face, the beams of sunlight trying to catch you while you pass through the aroma of the trees, better than the fragrance that a best coin laundry can give you.”

Everything seems small, everything seems big, your speed and the path is only chosen by you, nothing is written, nothing is said, this is now part of your history and will live in your veins forever. Sorry, but there is no turning back.

Today you reached the bottom of the mountain and you won the only race that combined all your feelings and senses in just a few breathtaking moments. Don’t worry they’ll be more tomorrows of riding. This is only a portion of what snowboarding can give you, the sky is the limit.

This is not a sport but a way of living. If you think your life is perfect right now and are afraid of changes, PLEASE don’t try snowboarding or be ready for the consequences, and don’t tell us we didn’t warn you.

Snowboarding is going to change the way you think and most importantly is going to draw, like you did on the mountain, a smile on your face every time somebody talks or says the word of wisdom, the word of happiness, the word of “snowboarding”. Try to be a better person every time you can and enjoy your life at maximum because it’s only one.

See you at the top!
